Former Winston Academy standout Isaac Keen had another big week on the tennis court, picking up four wins while losing only three games in five sets played.
In East Central's 9-0 win over Holmes last Wednesday Keen took a 6-0, 6-2 win over Jamie Hernandez, then teamed up with Jake Wofford to take a forfeit win in doubles.
Two days later the East Central men's tennis team, now 4-1 on the season, took a 9-0 victory over Southwest as Keen claimed an impressive 6-0, 6-1 win over Luke Morgan. He also teamed up with Wofford to blank Jexequiel Dela Cruz and Hunter Burgess 8-0.
The East Central women's team is 3-2 on the year.
The Warriors and Lady Warriors were set to visit Meridian on Thursday, then visit Itawamba on Friday. East Central returns home to take on Gulf Coast on Feb. 28.
