Choctaw County seniors Allie Brown, Lizzie Thomas and Ayana Taylor have been selected to play in the North Mississippi All-Star Softball Game. The game is scheduled for 6 p.m. June 7 at Saltillo.
Brown was the Lady Chargers' leading hitter with a .500 batting average, five doubles, one triple, one homer, 25 runs scored and 17 RBIs. Taylor batted .447 with three doubles, a triple, four homers, 20 runs scored and 17 RBIs.
Thomas did most of the pitching for Choctaw County. She was 5-4 with a 2.39 ERA and 48 strikeouts in 41 innings. At the plate, she batted .455 with five doubles, a triple, 19 RBIs and 19 runs scored.
The Lady Chargers finished 10-8, including 8-0 in Region 3-3A.
