After falling to Choctaw County and Neshoba Central by scores of 11-5 and 12-2 last Tuesday and Friday, the Louisville baseball team picked up its first win of the year Saturday with a 13-3 victory against Noxapater.
The Wildcats return to the diamond on Tuesday when they visit Noxapater. In late-week action, Louisville hosts Caledonia on Saturday.
SOFTBALL
The Louisville Lady Wildcats earned their first win of the season last Friday by defeating Choctaw County 12-11 in a high-scoring affair.
The win put the Lady Wildcats at 1-0 on the young season.
Louisville begins this week with back-to-back games against Leake Central on Tuesday and Thursday, and it closes the week with a trip to Noxapater on Friday.
