Ms. Anita welcomed everyone for storytime at Webster County Library on Aug. 21 with the “Hello Song.”
The children had fun with several activities including a flannel board activity, ”5 Pigs So Squeaky Clean,” ”Piggy Jump from Corn to Corn,” “10 Little Piggies” (using stick puppets) and sang an original song, ”Pigs Roll In the Mud.”
The children listened to Ms. Anita read “Hiccup,” a story about a pig that had the hiccups. After the story everyone decorated a picture of a pig with pink strips of construction paper.
Storytime is each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
