Everyone was excited to get back to storytime at Webster County Library on Aug. 14. There were old faces as well as new ones who were eager to start this new adventure.
After a time of renewing friendships, everyone got ready for a story and songs. Ms. Anita led the children in the “Hello Song” to introduce everyone, followed by the “Tadpole Song.”
They participated in several activities, “Jump Like a Frog” and “Lilly Pad Hop,” before listening to a flannel board activity, “Five Green and Speckled Frogs.”
In keeping with the frog theme for the day , Ms. Anita read “Froggy Loves to Swim” to the children. After the story everyone made green frog faces to take home.
Storytime is each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. for Pre-K children.
