On a beautiful, cold December morning children arrived at Webster County Public Library dressed in Christmas clothes ready to meet Santa Claus on Dec. 18.
Mrs. Claus (Ms. Anita) led everyone in singing Christmas songs: “Reindeer Hokey Pokey,” “ Dancing Christmas Tree” and “ I Little, 2 Little, 3 Little Reindeer.”
A new book, “Little Blue Truck’s Christmas,” was read to the children. This book is part of a series of Little Blue Truck books recently available at the library.
After the story, an important visitor arrived at the library — Santa Claus. Santa listened as each child sat on his lap and shared their desires for themselves and their family for Christmas.
