Happy Valentine's Day to all! Friday was all about love at the Maben Public Library.
We read "Froggy's First Kiss." Froggy has a hard time paying attention in class and then a new girl came to school. He really had a hard time then.
Her name was Frogilina. She smiled at Froggy because she liked him too. At lunch she gave him a big juicy apple, then a cookie shaped like a heart, then a big juicy kiss!
“Blah!” spluttered Froggy. His tummy felt so weird he couldn't even eat his lunch. He made a valentine but it wasn't for Frogilina. He gave it to his mother. It said, “I Love You!”
Lots of fun was had by all. The children enjoyed passing out valentines to their friends. They decorated a bag to put all the valentines and goodies in. Then a party was enjoyed by all with cookies, cakes, Cheetos, drinks, cheese and even ice cream!
