“Valentine’s Day” was our story Feb. 7 at the Maben Public Library. We are getting the children ready for Valentine’s Day, which is this Friday.
Our book tells of things the children made at school for their friends’ valentines. Some of them wrote messages, some wrote their name, drew airplanes, robots and cut out hearts. They were decorated all different ways and given to their friends.
The children made valentines and some were going to give to their friend and some their Mom. They were very creative, and enjoyed gluing and using stickers.
Then they played with Play-Doh and were very creative there too.
Attending Maben storytime on Feb. 7 were Tripp and Welles Fouche, Kaylyn Davis, Grae Sanford, Tyler Kay Bates, Lilli Cate Anderson, Vivie Halford and Hunter Vaughn.
