On a beautiful Wednesday morning, Aug. 28, children arrived at Webster County Library eager to play, sing and listen to a story.
Ms. Anita led them in singing, “6 Little Ducks” and “Little Ducky Duddle.” The children enjoyed several activities, “ 5 Little Ducks,” with puppets and they waddled like ducks in a circle.
Ms. Anita read “Hey Duck!” a story about a duckling who is trying to befriend another “duckling,” oblivious to the fact that the “duckling” is actually a cat.
In keeping with the duck theme, the children decorated a yellow duck. Storytime is each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
