Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I want to remind all of us what God says about sowing seed, good or bad.
We look at our children and grandchildren today and wonder why they are doing so many things that bring pain and turmoil in the family and fail to remember how we (grownups) used to, as they say, sow wild oats.
Well friend, if you sowed wild oats, the same will come up in your offspring. Galatians 6:7 says, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
And you may look at your children and grandchildren and say, “But I was never that bad.”
God also says in his word in Hosea 8:7, “For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind.” A whirlwind will do a lot more than a wind.
Sometimes we forget hat God’s spiritual laws are greater than natural laws. God’s word is forever established in the heavens.
Galatians 6:8 says, “For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”
When we get born again and change our lives, we begin to sow good seed. Praise God! Now good seed can come up. We need to pray for our children and grandchildren that God would keep a hedge around them until they come to God. God will save our household if we believe.
May God bless and keep us. Amen!
