Hello everyone. It was a great week, but a hot one. Glad we made it through another scorcher.
Even though sometimes yard work can be somewhat taxing, I truly enjoy the opportunity I have to spend with the Lord while mowing. Listening to worship music while I work causes me to get excited and sing out loud around the church yard.
So if you’re in the area and you see or hear a man singing while on the lawnmower, it’s just me thanking God for his goodness, mercy and blessings.
It was great to be in the house of the Lord this Sunday to experience his presence and feel his anointing. Our Sunday school lesson was in continuation on the life of Job. Though he had many tests and trials in his life, he never gave up and trusted God. Because of Job’s faithfulness, God blessed him double for his trouble.
Church, if we too are faithful and trust God through the hills and valleys, we will see the blessings of God.
Three weeks ago my wife and I, her mother and our missionary cousin visited the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter in Kentucky. What an adventure. It was an amazing experience.
If you’ve not had the chance to visit the two, I pray you will consider making the trip if you can. It will bless you. We can learn a lot from Noah. Because of his faithfulness to God, the Lord protected his family. We can all trace our roots back to him and his faithfulness to God.
Remember, we must remain faithful even in trying times. God is our Shield, Buckler, Salvation and Defense. He is faithful to his people.
Please remember to pray for the sick, including Mr. and Mrs. Avent and all those who were negatively affected by the hurricane last week.
God bless you all and have a wonderful week.
