Good afternoon everyone. I trust it is well with you all. We are still seeing miracles every day, even in the midst of chaos. He still reigns. God still reigns. He is still on the throne.
Just a reminder church — prayer changes things. Even King David, a man after God, knew prayer changes things, even after his own sins. He prayed, fasted, mourned for his son and sat in sackcloth and ashes, because he knew God was a compassionate, loving God.
My friend, throughout the word of God we see that the prayers of a righteous man availeth much. Just like in Abraham’s time when he talked with God, knowing God might change his mind, he talked with God trying to persuade God and not to destroy the city.
By asking the Lord to save that unholy city would he spare the city if there were 50 righteous, than 45, then 40, then 30, then, 20, then 10, but the answer was no.
Why? Only one was found — Lot, Abraham’s brother. So he saved Lot and his family that if they would take heed and leave, the city would be saved. So God did save the righteous.
So never give up praying to save the cities or the world. God will save his people and in the process maybe we might win more along the way.
Church, we definitely can’t stop praying now. Jesus is coming soon, maybe morning, night or noon, but he is still coming soon. We need to be ready. Also, we must be in a right relationship with the Father and continue to have faith. Such faith as that of Peter, who walked out onto the water. It took a lot of faith to get out of the boat, and yet Peter did because it was Jesus. While walking toward Jesus with his eyes on him he was truly walking on water and all was going great.
However, the minute Peter began to look away from Jesus he began to sink because all he could see was the storm. Therefore he began to sink, but the minute he cried out to Jesus for help your Bible says Jesus immediately reached out his hand and caught him. And said to him, “O ye of little faith, why did you doubt?”
Evidently Peter lost faith after being in the storm. We all do that from time to time; we all become distracted from time to time.
But, church, it is not time to doubt or be distracted. The God who formed the universe formed you also. He can do anything. He is our savior, our Lord, our healer, our redeemer, and just in case we fall, only call out. He will rescue you and us.
So in all your ways trust in God and he shall direct your path. He will save us from the storms of life. Just keep the faith and trust the Lord; he will bring us through.
Just a reminder from the word of God: All things, I said all things, work together for good to those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose.
God bless you all. May God cause his face to shine upon you and his glory to overshadow you all during these times.
