Despite the obvious difficulties the Covid-19 pandemic posed Winston County schools, the students of Grace Christian School completed their entire fourth nine weeks “distance learning” curricula, met all learning objectives for the last quarter of the year, and are ready for the start of the next school year. In addition, GCS athletics had an amazing year from start to finish, as all varsity sports had winning records. And even though the school was not able to have a traditional athletic banquet and a normal academic awards day, June 3 saw the students and athletes of GCS stop by school to pick up their awards and trophies. This is one way the school hopes to say thanks to all of the families, students, and athletes for a truly amazing year. Headmaster Jason Morgan also expresses gratitude to the GCS community, especially for hanging in there and working hard throughout the fourth nine weeks.
