Lady Warriors had a roller coaster week, bounced back

The Nanih Waiya softball team got in three games last week and came away with one win.

The Lady Warriors dropped a pair of tight games as they fell 10-6 to Northeast Lauderdale and 9-7 to Ridgeland. They ended the week with a 15-2 blowout win over Independence.

The Lady Warriors lost 12-1 to Southeast Lauderdale on Tuesday and then lost 14-7 to Northeast Lauderdale on Thursday.

Warriors split wins with Leake Central, Choctaw County

The Nanih Waiya baseball team got in three games last week, giving up just three runs on the week.

The Warriors got a pair of shutout wins, beating West Lowndes 10-0 on Tuesday and then beat Leake Central 16-0 on Thursday. The Warriors then dropped a tight 3-1 game to Choctaw County on Saturday.
