But Bruce was just a little bit better as they held off a furious fourth-quarter rally to take a 37-34 win over the Warriors.

Nanih Waiya falls to 1-4 on the season and will travel to McAdams on Friday night.

After getting consecutive turnovers, it appeared as if the Noxapater Tigers were driving in to put the nail in the coffin of homestanding Okolona.

But a costly interception gave Okolona life and led to a 22-20 win over Noxapater on Friday night.

The Tigers fall to 1-3 on the season and will travel to Eupora soon Friday night.

After a promising start to the season with a 32-20 win over Southeast Lauderdale, the Noxapater Tigers have fallen on hard times against a pair of unbeaten football teams.

On Friday night, it was East Webster who had almost 500 yards of total offense and cruised to a 47-0 win.
