Oh, dear Lord, what a revival we had at Highways and Hedges church. The Lord is pouring out his Spirit even as it was in Acts the second chapter.
The altar was full each night with people that were pouring out their hearts to God, the Spirit of God drawing them to come. We had good old-fashioned, I mean old-time, preaching where truth was preached. I’m talking about the truth Jesus talks about in John 8:32, where it says, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
You know we have so many that are walking around bound with addictions and divers lusts that reign in their bodies. And what is so sad is that some claim to know the Lord. So many don’t want to know the truth; they are satisfied with their bondage and don’t want to be free. Why don’t you want to walk in the fullness of his glory and have fellowship, have a relationship with him?
Jesus died on the cross so he could restore the relationship that Adam and Eve lost in the garden of Eden, when they listened to Satan and were deceived. They lost that relationship they had with God because of disobedience. But Jesus wants to give us everlasting life, but we have to choose him and reject what the world is telling you.
The word says in I John 2:15, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”
Friends, the Lord is coming soon! Are you ready to go?
