French Camp came from behind four times for a walk off 7-6 victory over Winona in 11 innings.
Winona scored twice in the fourth inning for a 2-0 lead. The Panthers drew even with runs in the fifth and seventh. After a scoreless eighth, Winona scored twice in the top of the ninth, but French Camp answered with two in the bottom of the inning to make it 4-4.
Winona scored one in the 10th, matched by French Camp, then one more in the 11th for a 6-5 lead. This time French Camp tied the score, then pushed across the winning run for the Panthers only lead of the game.
Cody Perry and Macon Bentley each had three hits for French Camp, Surrette and Avery Summers two each. Perry had two RBIs and scored a run and Bentley had one RBI and crossed home plate three times. Rob Surrette also had two hits and scored a run. Four French Camp pitchers surrendered 15 walks, but also recorded eight strikeouts.
The Panthers were active on the bases with seven steals, including two each by Surrette and Summers, and benefited from Winona errors that resulted in five unearned runs.
Dalton Ferguson reached base six times for Winona with three hits and three walks.
In two other games last week, French Camp was defeated by East Webster 10-1 and Eupora 11-0.
