29 And God said, ìBehold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. 30 And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.î And it was so. ó Genesis 1:29-30 Inventions and scientific discoveries intrigue me. Itís amazing how the mind of man can take knowledge, experience, and creativity and turn it into something previous generations couldnít even fathom as a possibility. I respect those who work in the fields of medicine, science, chemistry, mathematics, etc. Through them ideas become reality. They are truly gifted and I fully acknowledge their passion and determination, but I also know where the origination of all things lie. I know where every invention, scientific breakthrough, and groundbreaking idea came from. Nothing is more creative, passionate, or persistent than God Himself. He is the great provider, and through His wisdom often uses man to bring those creations to the forefront. One of the unique things about God is that He provides before it is even needed. Source of fuel was buried deep into the earth before man ever had a need for gasoline, coal or nuclear power. He put the Sun in place and spoke power into the winds before solar panels and windmills ever surfaced. He provided birds and fish before man even realized they were good to eat. The first chapter of Genesis houses the greatest museum of creation that has ever existed. We see in verses 11- 12 that he created vegetation to not only feed and shelter the animals and humans that were to come, but also provided a wide variety that would reproduce itself. Then in verses 29 and 30 He tells man that all of this He has created was for him. God knows what we need long before it is required. Now thatís creativity!
