Three Choctaw County softball players played a key role in their team's victory at the Northeast Mississippi All-Star Softball Game June 7 at Saltillo.
Ayana Taylor was offensive MVP with a single and double, Allie Brown walked twice and scored twice and Lizzie Thomas singled and was the winning pitcher.
“All three girls represented Choctaw County very well,” said Lady Charger coach Lance Thomas.
The three girls played on the Blue Team, which defeated the Gold Team 6-2. The game featured graduating seniors from high schools in Northeast Mississippi, with teams chosen by the all-star coaches.
