A called meeting of the Choctaw County Board of Supervisors was held, Monday, September 23 to deal with the following issues:
• A motion was made by Greg Fondren to order an inter-fund transfer in the amount of $20K from fund 001 to fund 106 to support volunteer fire services in Choctaw County. The motion was seconded by John Shumaker and the board voted unanimously in support.
• A motion was made by John Shumaker to approve and authorize needed signature on the County Continuity of Operations Plan as submitted by the County Emergency Manager. The motion was seconded by Chris McIntire and the Board voted unanimously in support.
• A motion was made by Joey Stephenson to approve the claim of Reform Fire Department in the amount of $4K paid for concrete labor for new fire station and order the Clerk to settle by means of pay warrants. The motion was seconded by John Shumaker and the board voted unanimously in support.
• A motion was made by Joey Stephenson to approve the request of the Sheriff for postage in the amount of $50 and order the Clerk to settle by means of a pay warrant. The motion was seconded by Chris McIntire and the Board voted unanimously in support.
• A motion was made by Joey Stephenson to approve the year end fixed assets ledger as submitted by the County Inventory Clerk. The motion was seconded by John Shumaker and the board voted unanimously in support.
• A motion was made by Eric Chambers to approve the claims docket dated September 23, 2019 and order the Clerk to settle by means of pay warrants. The motion was seconded by John Shumaker and the board voted unanimously in support.
