Dollar General in French Camp is “officially” open. The Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce helped celebrate the store opening with a ribbon cutting on February 26, 2020.
During the ribbon cutting ceremony, Chamber Executive Director Donna McKay presented Janette Stricklin, store manager, with a free six-month Chamber membership and welcomed them to Choctaw County.
French Camp Mayor Glen Barlow was excited to welcome the store and the Dollar General employees to the Town of French Camp. Pastor Alex Coblentz with the French Camp Presbyterian Church said a prayer over Dollar General. Stricklin introduced her staff then everyone went outside to cut the ribbon.
Dollar General is located at 6398 MS Hwy. 413 in French Camp. The store is open Monday – Sunday from 8am – 10pm.
