Choctaw County voters will have their voices heard as the Democratic and Republican 2018 Primary Elections are right around the corner.
Mississippi registered voters will vote June 5 for their choice for the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives First Congressional District.
The Democratic primary for the Senate race is between six individuals; David Baria, Jensen Bohren, Jerone Garland, Victor G. Maurice, Jr., Omeria Scott, and Howard Sherman.
Only one democratic candidate will be on the ballot U.S. House of Representatives seat, and that is Randy Mack Wadkins running unopposed.
The Republican primary for the Senate race includes incumbent Roger F. Wicker and Richard Warren Boyanton.
In the Republican U.S. House of Representatives race, incumbent Trent Kelly will run unopposed. .

Primary runoff elections for U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives would be held June 26.
