During their regularly scheduled meeting, on Monday, March 4, the Choctaw County Board of Supervisors received an update from Pafford Medical on the status of EMS service since taking over in January. Pafford officials stated that everything was going well, and some elected officials concurred, stating that they had heard only good reports. Chancery Clerk Steve Montgomery reported that there is a problem when Choctaw 9-1-1 transfers a call from their call center to Pafford, in that Pafford is not receiving the address and phone number, which is an issue that must be worked out.
