White Oak Camp No. 472 Woodmen of the World will unveil a monument to Sovereign Chas. F. Brock at Pisgah Church on the 3rd Sunday in May at 11 a.m. All camps are invited to take part in the ceremonies. W. L. Adkins, Clerk.

We regret to chronicle the death of Mrs. Bettie Sisson, 62 years old, which occurred at her home in Ackerman Wednesday morning after a short illness. She left surviving her five children, her husband, Mr. R. W. Sisson, having preceded her to the grave quite a number of years ago. Mrs. Sisson was born July 31st, 1857. She was connected with some of the most prominent families of this section of the state, having been a daughter of Dr. White Hemphill, for many years a prominent physician of French Camp, and a first cousin of Congressman T. U. Sisson and Mrs. Louise Drane of Winona. The deceased was a life-long member of the Presbyterian Church and was a woman of splendid culture and of the highest Christian character. She was buried at Old Lebanon Thursday, funeral services being conducted by Rev. S. J. McBride.
The Reform Consolidated School will receive bids at Reform for the erection of a School Building for the Reform Consolidated School, Monday, May 5, 1919. Plans and specifications will be furnished at that time. The committee reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish certified check of $100 as a forfeit. I. F. Bridges for the Committee.
Mrs. J. E. Polley passed away at her home last Friday after a long illness. She was a noble, Christian woman in every part of life. The burial took place at Starkville Sunday. To the grief-stricken husband, little children, and other loved ones, we extend our deepest sympathy.
