On the evening of Saturday, February 1, an attempted burglary took place at Guns & Roses Pawn Shop located at 65 North Louisville Street Ackerman Chief of Police Tim Cook stated that the perpetrators broke some windows and tried to cut a lock, and even attempted to cut some wires in the breaker box, but were unable to gain entry.
As of Friday, February 21, three arrests have been made in the case: Treyvion Jones, 19, Lajordan Coleman, 24, and Kirsten Gill, 18, all of Louisville.
Cook stated that Jones was arrested after purchasing bolt cutters in Starkville, which led to the arrests of the others.
As of this writing they are being held in the Choctaw County Jail.
Gill was placed under a $10K bond while Coleman and Jones are each under a $5K bond.
