The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks Fisheries Bureau has announced proposed changes to fishing regulations at a local MDWFP lake.
The changes are being proposed at Whites Creek Lake in Eupora.
The slot limit on black bass will be removed and replaced with a 15-inch minimum length limit. The daily creel limit will be reduced to five bass per angler. Crappie will be managed with a 10-inch minimum length limit and a daily creel limit of 15 fish per angler. In addition, the daily creel limit on bream will be reduced to 25 per angler.
Anyone wishing to comment on the proposed changes may do so in writing to the Executive Director; Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks; 1505 Eastover Drive; Jackson, MS 39211 no later than April 17.
