Last Friday was so exciting for the children at the Maben Public Library. We had so much to do that we didn’t get around to reading a story.
We want to thank Dana Huffman for adding to our Easter. She brought two baby chickens and a goat that everyone got to pet. We also had a big egg hunt with 260 eggs filled with candy and balloons.
We had 26 children in attendance and so the excitement was a little overwhelming but we all had lots of fun. We did talk about Easter and why we celebrate it. We also sang “Little Bunny Foo Foo” while parents hid eggs. After all that we had an Easter party with bunny cookies, Cheetos, and Capri Suns.
We will be closed this Friday for Good Friday but don’t forget 10 a.m. April 6. We will have a special guest!
