If you are like most people, you are ready for spring.
"When Will it be Spring?" was our story Friday at the Maben Public Library. It is about a baby bear so anxious for spring that he had trouble sleeping.
He kept waking his mom up to ask if it is spring yet. She tells him different things to look for such as butterflies, flowers, birds, sunshine and warmer days. Each time he thinks he sees those things it is something else.
When spring finally arrives, he is still tired and can be found fast asleep in a field of beautiful flowers with butterflies, birds, bunnies and all the things we like about spring.
The children then painted pictures of springtime using many different colors. They painted rainbows, Easter eggs, flowers and trees. This week is spring break so no storytime until March 23.
