The annual spring Choctaw County Flea Market will be held Saturday, April 6 from 8:00am until 12:00 in the Choctaw Regional Medical Center parking lot.
With approximately 30 vendors, there’s something for everyone. Antiques, plants, clothing, wreaths, jewelry, candles, Avon, Paparazzi, western items, books, wooden signs, sand art, tye-dye and creation shirts, embroidered towels, Color Street nails, hamburgers, hotdogs and more! Ackerman Juniorettes will have a corn hole game for kids. The food pantry will have a booth collecting non-perishable food items (especially rice, pasta and dried beans/peas) so be sure to bring a donation!
Choctaw County Flea Market began in 2012 as part of the MSU Extension’s Turning the Tide on Poverty project. The flea market, which is held every Spring and Fall, offers families a free venue where they can sell arts, crafts, yard sale items, plants, home-grown produce and more to make extra income for their family.
A big thank you goes to K&M Portables for donating the port-a-potty and Choctaw Regional Medical Center for letting us use their parking lot.
