The Controllers Generation II and III, in collaboration with the Mayor’s Health Council, kicked off its Child Abuse Awareness Month program at Pleasant Hill United Church in Maben on April 1.
Members gave out “eggstra” information with facts included in eggs during an Easter egg hunt. Attendees received pinwheels, ink pens, adhesive bandages, bracelets, stickers and other valuable information courtesy of Emerson Family School.
Events will also be conducted at area churches and information will be distributed.
