The Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Industry Appreciation Luncheon this past Thursday, at the Choctaw County Community Center. It was a time for representatives of different industries and organizations to come together, to relax and share good food and a time of good fellowship.
Chamber Executive Director, Donna McKay, stated that it is important to express their appreciation to the different industries as they are essential to the growth and wellbeing of the community, and without their support the Chamber of Commerce would be unable to host and sponsor many of their events.
Representatives from the following industries and organizations attended the 2019 Industry Appreciation Luncheon: 4-County EPA, Boral Resources, Choctaw County Board of Supervisors, Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce, Choctaw County Circuit Clerk, Choctaw County Economic Development District, Choctaw County School District, Choctaw Plaindealer, Choctaw Regional Medical Center, French Camp Academy, Menzner Lumber, Mississippi Lignite Mining Company, Southeastern Timber Products, and Southern Company Services – Red Hills Operations.
The luncheon was catered by Sonny’s Smokehouse and homemade desserts were provided by Donna McKay.
