Circuit Clerk Sherry Henderson advises that two voting precincts in Webster County have changed locations.
In the Grady Precinct, voters will now vote in the West Shady Grove Baptist Church fellowship hall on Grady Road
In the Mantee Precinct, voters will now vote in the Mantee Community Center.
Webster County voters will next go to the polls June 5 for party primary elections. The only contested race on the Republican ballot will be for U.S. Senate. Incumbent Roger Wicker faces Diamondhead businessman Richard Warren Boyanton.
Democratic candidates for the Senate post are attorney and state Rep. David Baria of Bay St. Louis, Jensen Bohren of Madison, Jerone Garland of Kosciusko, Victor G. Maurice Jr. of Gulfport, state Rep. Omeria Scott of Laurel and Howard Sherman of Meridian.
In the 1st Congressional District, U.S. Rep. Trent Kelly is unopposed on the Republican ballot, as is Randy Mack Wadkins of Oxford on the Democratic ballot.
Absentee ballots for the Democratic and Republic primaries are now available at the Circuit Clerk’s Office and the deadline for in-office absentee voting is noon June 2.
The primary winners will advance to the November general election, which will also include the special election for Sen. Thad Cochran’s seat, judicial races, and local school board races in districts 3 and 4.
