On Sept. 18, FBC Eupora hosted Parentsí Night during its revival. All childrenís parents and family were invited to rotate to the Childrenís Ministry normal weekly schedule: missions, Bible lesson, recreation and a meal. Afterward, families were invited to join FBC at revival.

Man charged in western Clay County home burglary

A man turned himself in after authorities identified him as a suspect in a residential burglary in neighboring Clay County. The burglary occurred Nov. 11 at 365 Joe Thompson Road in western Clay County, according to a Nov. 15 press release from the Clay County Sheriffís Office.

Eagles take wins over Winona and French Camp; Lady Eagles split with Winona and FC

A hot start to the season continued for Eupora last week as the basketball Eagles continued their winning ways. Eupora had two games last week and won them both against Winona and French Camp Academy. Against the Tigers, Eupora came away with a 58-54 win as KJ Gary had a tremendous night with 28 points and four rebounds.

Wolverines to face rival Choctaw County in North

Having already played Aberdeen earlier in the season, East Webster had its antennas up for its thirdround playoff matchup against the Bulldogs. That reason alone meant there was no upset on the docket for the Wolverines as a locked in group came out and dominated the ball game 35-0.
