The Noxapater Lady Tigers got in two games last week during spring break.
The Lady Tigers played two games on Saturday, beating Starkville 12-10 and losing to Lake Cormorant 9-5.
Noxapater is scheduled to play at Ethel on Tuesday as they return to division play. They will host Ethel on Thursday and then host French Camp on Friday as they make up a postponed game.
Noxapater 12, Starkville 10
The Lady Tigers fell behind early but rallied to take a two-run win in a time-limit contest on Saturday.
Noxapater scored two in the first but Starkville responded with seven in the bottom of the inning. The Lady Tigers then scored three in the second, six in the third and four in fourth to take the win.
Starkville outhit Noxapater 8-5 in the contest. Kaliyah Moore was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs while Karlee Sullivan singled and drove in two runs. Morgan Woods and Summer Meredith each singled and scored while Kenzie Harrell had two RBIs. Emma Cremeen scored three runs while Aliyah McCool scored two runs.
Jodie Wilkes started in the circle but only got two outs, giving up seven runs with only one being earned. She gave up three hits, two walks and struck out one. Woods pitched 3 1/3 innings in relief and got the win, giving up three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out six.
Lake Cormorant 9, Noxapater 5
The Lady Gators scored late to take a four-run win over the Lady Tigers on Saturday.
Lake Cormorant scored two in the first and third and led 4-0. But Noxapater scored three in the third and two in the fourth to tie the game at 5-5. But the Lady Gators scored the last four runs to take the win.
Lake Cormorant outhit Noxapater 8-4 in the contest. Morgan Woods was 2-for-3 with a triple and a run scored. Karlee Sullivan singled, scored a run and had an RBI while Kaliyah Moore had Noxapater’s other hit.
Woods started in the circle and gave up nine runs with only five being earned. She gave up eight hits and three walks while striking out six.
