The softball field wasn’t kind to the French Camp Lady Panthers last week.
The Lady Panthers dropped a pair games, falling 12-2 to West Point and 13-1 to East Webster.
French Camp is scheduled to host rival Ethel on Tuesday and then host West Point on Thursday before the spring break holiday.
East Webster 13, French Camp 1
The Lady Panthers struggled at the plate and took a four-inning, run-rule loss to the Lady Wolverines on Friday.
East Webster scored six in the first, two in the second and fourth and three in the third.
Julia Littlejohn had French Camp’s only hit with a double.
Jullian Skidmore pitched 3 1/3 innings and gave up 13 runs on 10 hits and six walks while striking out two.
West Point 12, French Camp 2
The Lady Green Wave started fast and took a rain-shortened 10-run win over the Lady Panthers on Tuesday.
West Point scored five in the first, three in the second and four in the third to lead 12-0 before French Camp scored two in the fourth.
French Camp had six hits in the contest. Brenna Page was 2-for-2 with a pair of triples. Julian Skidmore singled, scored and drove in a run while Ainsley Dew singled and drove in a run. Haley Bushea and Julia Littlejohn also singled for the Lady Panthers.
Skidmore pitched all three innings and gave up 12 runs on seven hits and eight walks and was saddled with the loss.
