An elementary school principal with the Webster County School District has announced her retirement.
Superintendent Brian Jones presented a personnel action form and letter of resignation from Kim Stallings to the Webster County School Board on April 6.
Stallings is retiring from her position as principal of East Webster Elementary School effective July 1, according to the meeting minutes. The board did vote to accept her resignation.

Other action taken by the board on April 6:
• Approved the MAEP teacher pay scale for 2020-21.
• Approved salary scales for 2020-21.
• Approved certified staff recommendations for 2020-21.
• Approved classified staff recommendations for 2020-21.
• Approved bus driver recommendations for 2020-21.
• Approved a request to refund parents of Eupora SHAPE students money paid toward a field trip that was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic.
• Accepted donations from East Webster High School Athletic Boosters to EWHS baseball and EWHS junior high cheer.
• Adjourned until April 20. The next regular meeting is at 6 p.m. May. 11.
