Scott went to Jackson on business this week. - Dr. Berryhill of Eupora was on our streets Monday. - Hon. J. Lem Seawright of Ackerman was in our town Tuesday. - We pay highest prices for chickens and eggs. Bailey & Pittman. - J. A. Ricks made a business trip to Itta Bena the first of the week. - All our people that attended the picnic at Patterson Springs report a good time. H. O. Cash, wife and little son of New Albany visited in the home of Dr. Lamb on Sunday - Mrs. D. R. Lamb and children spent Wednesday with friends and relatives in Bellefontaine. - Mrs. Leon Atkins of Moorehead is here on a visit to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Crow. - Mrs. Lovett and daughters Juanita and Nellie are visiting relatives at Bellefontaine this week. - Don’t forget Brother Woodmen that our camp meets on Saturday night. Let everybody be there. - D. W. McClain of the Blythe Creek vicinity was in town among friends Tuesday and Wednesday. We have a petition signed by nineteen of our business men who agree to close up for Union S. S. picnic at Spring Valley, Friday 13th. - R. T. Greer made a visit to Shaw Wednesday. - Drs. Tom Greer, who has been attending medical college at Birmingham, and Oscar Roberts, who was pursuing a similar course in Memphis, are now back at home. We understand that Dr. Roberts graduated this year in his college course. - There seems to be considerable talk concerning the deep well question in our town. This is a question that should be closely considered by all our citizens, as well as our Board of Aldermen. - Miss Mary Trotter of Eupora was a guest in the home of Dr. P. B. Trotter on Monday and Tuesday, while having dental work done. Miss Hortense Jones, who has been visiting here for the past two or three weeks, returned Wednesday to her home at Cleveland. - Quite a number of our people attended the memorial services at Lollar’s Grove Sunday. They report a good time. - Mrs. Mollie Redding and daughter Miss Eula of the Hall neighborhood was in town shopping on Tuesday. - We must keep pulling if we expect the town to keep growing.
