We are fortunate, however, in having Mr. Fitzgerald from the same place, as our agent. - James Carothers and Miss Nannie Ray attended Catholic service at Montpelier Tuesday. - Mrs. Sue Burges spent Sunday night and Monday with Maben friends. - We were glad to have E. Lovett of the Ma’en Press with us for a short while Tuesday. - Henry Burges was shopping in Dancy Wednesday. - Mrs. Clara Little and children left last week for Missouri, where she goes to join her husband. - Emmett Walker and Ray Cobb have taken the contract to catch a live owl. Let us hope they’ll succeed. STURGIS SAYINGS [Miss Sallie Bevil]: John Hunt, Jr. is seriously ill at his home two miles west of our town. - Tom Frazier was called from French Camp where he is attending school to the bedside of his mother, who is seriously ill in the home of Andrew Frazier. - Mrs. Bettie Hall of Longview spent Thursday here. - Miss Hettie Rives was in town Monday. - Mrs. Wallace returned home Saturday. - Miss Maude Woodson is quite sick. - Mrs. Allie Green and little son are visiting in town this week. - John Foster spent last week at the parsonage.
