The Controllers 4-H Clubs have collected food, cleaning supplies, toiletries, etc., for older and special-needs individuals who do not have transportation to get to stores. The clubs will continue to provide food and items for them. Some members who have driver’s licenses along with volunteers will take individuals to doctor appointments, pick up medicine, pay bills and assist with meal preparation.
Mrs. Edwards, a widow, said, “I really appreciate what they have done for me. I cannot drive and they have seen about me.”
Members are also assisting new parents with items.
