Praise God for the precious word of God! My morning verses this morning were in Romans 8:1-5:
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
“For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
“That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
"For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.”
Then in Genesis 1:3, it says, “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”
When we read God’s word and don’t understand it, he tells us in James 1:5, “If any man lacks wisdom, let him ask of God.” There the Lord will speak light on the subject. We who are of Christ Jesus and walk in the Spirit still don’t understand everything, but he did say, ”Ask.”
I watched a short video on YouTube where a man was hunting and came upon this beautiful lake and saw an eagle flying across it. He said, “Lord, I sure would like to get close to that eagle. Because there are times when I don’t think you hear me when I pray but if you hear me today, let me get close to that eagle.”
And lo and behold he changed the phone to his shoulder and there was the eagle. God had allowed that bald eagle to land on his shoulder.
Our God is an awesome God!
