“Blessed are those that hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.”
That was Matthew 5:6. That’s a promise; he didn’t say might be filled, but he said you shall be filled! So it’s left up to us how much we want from God. If we don’t have a hunger for God, we need to ask him to give us that desire for him.
James 1:5 says, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him.
Friend, where are your desires; do you want more of God or more of the things of the world? He’s as close as the mention of his name. He’s waiting on us to seek him. He’s waiting on us to seek him. He wants us to know him more than he want to know him.
So many are laden down with the cares of this world that they stay occupied with so much that they feel like they have to do. The Word says in Matthew 11:28, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
And sometimes we even need to ask others to pray for us and with us. Thank God for the family of God and those that walk by faith and not by sight. To God be the glory!
