The French Camp Lady Panthers picked up two big wins last week, thanks to the double-double efforts of Jasmine Bonty.
Bonty totaled 56 points and 28 points in two games as the Lady Panthers beat Pisgah 59-39 and Winona 56-38.
The Panthers weren’t as fortunate as they fell 57-41 to Winona and 45-31 to Pisgah.
French Camp was scheduled to travel to Eupora on Monday and host Vardaman on Tuesday as they finish out their December schedule.
French Camp won’t return to action until Jan 4 as they travel to Noxapater to open district play.
French Camp girls 59, Pisgah 39
French Camp dominated the early action and cruised to a 20-point win over the Lady Dragons.
French Camp jumped out to a 20-7 lead in the first period and outscored the Lady Dragons 14-8 in the second to lead 34-15 at the half. Pisgah took the third period 10-9 in the third and French Camp took the fourth 16-14 for the final margin.
Jasmine Bonty led French Camp with 27 points and 15 rebounds while Grace Ann Wade had 19 points.
Pisgah boys 45, French. Camp 31
The Dragons used quick starts to both halves and took a 14-point win over the Panthers.
Pisgah led 11-6 at the end of the first and 16-13 at the half. Pisgah pulled away in the third as they outscored French Camp 16-7 to take a 32-20 lead into the fourth. The Dragons finished off by outscoring the Panthers 13-11 in the fourth for the final margin.
Ethan Wright led French Camp with nine points while Macon Bentley and Ethan Chesser each scored seven points. Silas Hodge also chipped in four points.
French Camp girls 56, Winona 38
The Lady Panthers used a big second half to pull away and take an 18-point win over the Lady Tigers.
French Camp led 14-9 at the end of the first but Winona took the second period 17-15 to cut the lead to 29-26 at the half. French Camp pulled away in the second half as they outscored Winona 12-8 in the third6 and 15-4 in the fourth to take the win.
Jasmine Bonty led French Camp with another double-double, scoring 29 points and pulling down 13 rebounds. Grace Ann Wade also had 21 points for the Lady Panthers.
Winona boys 57, French Camp 41
The Tigers built an early lead and cruised to a 16-point win over the Panthers.
Winona led 12-7 at the end of the first and outscored the Panthers 17-5 in the second to lead 29-12 at the half. Winona continued to extend its lead in the third, outscoring French Camp 17-10 to lead 46-22 going into the fourth. French Camp outscored Winona 19-11 in the fourth to take the win.
Macon Bentley led French Camp with 12 points while Ethan Cherrer and Ethan Wright each had 10 points apiece.
