The Mississippi Business Journal has named its 50 Leading Business Women in Mississippi for 2022.
Among the 50 was Robin Mixon, administrator of North Mississippi Medical Center-Eupora. She was profiled as follows in a special issue of the MBJ published Sept. 30:
Robin Mixon is administrator of North Mississippi Medical Center-Eupora. She also serves as administrator of NMMC-Eupora’s long-term care facility. She is a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Administrators and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in management from Mississippi University for Women and a master’s degree in health administration from Trident University International.
She is a licensed preceptor under the Mississippi Board of Nursing Home Administrators as well as a certified health safety professional. Mixon is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American College of Health Care Administrators, the Mississippi Rural Health Association, the Mississippi Health Care Association and the Mississippi Public Health Association among others. She was among the members of the first class of the Mississippi Hospital Association Emerging Leaders.
She enjoys civic activities, too, especially Eupora New Century Club, Eupora Rotary and District 6820, and her church.
