Gov. Tate Reeves has appointed Eupora native John Weddle as judge on the Mississippi Court of Appeals, District 1, Position 1. His appointment, which Reeves announced Sept. 25, fills a vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Jim M. Greenlee. District 1 includes Webster County.
