On Tuesday, July 2, officers of the Louisville Police Dept. conducted a traffic stop on South Church Avenue resulting in the arrest of 38-year-old Rocky Boykin on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of Schedule 4 narcotics and various citations for traffic violations.
Approximately 10 grams of alleged methamphetamine, marijuana and various amounts of pharmaceuticals were recovered at the traffic stop.
The arresting officers were Brandon Gladney, Dylan Alford, Virginia McDonald and Kylan Harris.
Boykin was detained at the Winston County Correctional Facility, and was arraigned in Louisville Municipal Court on Wednesday, July 3rd, where his bond was set at $5K.
The information that led to this arrest was gained from concerned citizens of Louisville.
