The Choctaw County Board of Supervisors held its second meeting of March on Monday, the 25th which was rescheduled from March 18. During a meeting the Board took up several issues as follows:
• Voted 5-0 to hire Nancy Grammer at the rate of $10.00/hr. as an E-911 Dispatcher pending satisfactory completion of background can Homeland Security Checks.
• Voted 5-0 to approve travel and expenses for the County Emergency Manager for May 6-9, 2019 conference.
• Voted 5-0 to approve travel and expenses for the Comptroller to attend training April 18-19, 2019.
• Voted 5-0 to approve travel and expenses for the Tax Assessor to attend training April 10-11, 2019.
• Voted 5-0 to recognize certificate of the Tax Assessor for IAAO 854.
• Voted 5-0 to approve pay application #5 for the airport project to Mastercraft Builders in the amount of $8,075.00 and authorize the President to sign on the Board’s behalf.
• Voted 5-0 to approve the request for reimbursement dealing with pay application #5 to the FAA and DOT and authorize the President to sign on the Board’s behalf.
• Voted 5-0 to approve the claims docket dated March 25, 2019 with the exception of invoice 96715 for Workman’s Comp Insurance and order the Clerk to settle by means of pay warrants.
