Regions Bank in Ackerman has a new manager, Ryan Smith.
Smith has been with Regions for the past year and a half writing mortgage loans for the Golden Triangle area. Before that he spent 15 years with Tower Loan.
Smith has close ties to Choctaw County, having grown up in Sturgis, and his grandfather was M.D. McMinn of Choctaw County.
Smith’s wife, Sarah, is employed at Choctaw County High School as a secretary, and they have children attending CCHS and Ackerman Elementary.
Smith said that he has enjoyed coaching his sons in baseball over the years and he enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing, and he also does some farming.
Smith stated that Regions Bank is a one-stop location for all banking needs including checking accounts, savings accounts, loans, mortgages and much more. And customers can always expect to receive excellent customer service from a friendly staff.
