Sentencing has been reset for a Eupora teen who pleaded guilty to a federal firearms charge.
Cole Breazeale was to be sentenced Feb. 6 for unlawful transport of firearms. However, sentencing has been reset for 10:30 a.m. April 3 at the U.S. Bankruptcy Courthouse in Aberdeen.
U.S. District Judge Sharion Aycock set the new sentencing date in an order signed Jan. 2. She directed the U.S. Probation Office to conduct a presentence investigation and deliver a presentence report to her by March 27.
Breazeale pleaded guilty to the charge in November after being indicted for firing shots near the Eupora High School band hall in 2017. No one was injured.
State charges of drive-by shooting and possession of a stolen firearm are also pending against him in Webster County Circuit Court. The 19-year-old remains detained without bond.
