Party runoff elections were held on Tuesday, August 27, with only three races being contested in Choctaw County.
All were on the Republican ticket and there were no local runoffs.
The contested seats were Governor, Attorney General and Transportation Commissioner – Northern District.

In the general election to be held Tuesday, November 5, Reeves will face current Attorney General Jim Hood; Fitch will face Democrat Jennifer Collins in the race for Attorney General; and Caldwell goes against Democrat Joe Grist for the Transportation Commissioner’s post.
