Volunteers ‘paint the town’
Eupora Beautification Committee members helped out with “painting the town” the evening of Aug. 29.
Volunteers freshened up the Eupora Eagle logo, in addition to painting the new maroon curb extensions at the north and south ends of Main Street (North Dunn) to help the make downtown area more pedestrian friendly.
Phase 2 will be soon to finish with more maroon paint for second coats and painting white crosswalks stripes and border around the maroon.
The committee is looking for volunteers to have a hand in beautifying the town. Volunteers can contact the Beautification Committee via the new Facebook page, Eupora Beautification Committee.
“Thank you to all of our volunteers that came to help during Phase 1,” the committee stated. “We look forward to continued community help and support toward making a mark on our beloved town.”
